Ekalia, a joint venture between IBA and Framatome, has signed a collaboration agreement with Telix Pharmaceuticals to accelerate astatine-211 (At-211) production in the United States. The partnership will leverage Telix's radiopharmaceutical network (RLS Radiopharmacies) to establish the first US production facility in Trevose, Pennsylvania, addressing the current shortage of this promising alpha-emitting radioisotope for cancer therapies.
