Einride and Lorenz Bring Autonomous Fleet to Production Facility in Germany

Einride and Lorenz Snacks announced a five-year deployment of four autonomous, all-electric vehicles at Lorenz's German plant in Neunburg vorm Wald. The fleet will transport up to 1,200 pallets daily between production facilities and warehouse, replacing diesel vehicles with electric power charged by on-site solar panels. The project, which won third place at the 2026 German Logistics Awards, represents a permanent operational solution rather than a pilot, demonstrating the viability of autonomous transport technology in industrial settings.
