Editas Medicine Appoints Dan Ory, M.D., as Chief Medical Officer

Editas Medicine announced the appointment of Dan Ory, M.D., as Chief Medical Officer effective September 8, 2026. Dr. Ory brings over 25 years of experience in cardiovascular and genetic medicine, previously serving as CMO at Arbor Biotechnologies and Casma Therapeutics. He will oversee clinical development strategy as Editas advances EDIT-401, its lead in vivo gene editing candidate for hyperlipidemia treatment, toward clinical trials.
