Cybertruck's Days Are Numbered. Here's What Tesla Has Planned.

Tesla is winding down Cybertruck production at its Texas Gigafactory around mid-2027 after the vehicle failed to meet expectations, with sales down 48% in 2025 and another 38% through September. The company plans to redirect manufacturing capacity toward the Cybercab autonomous vehicle and Optimus robots. However, the Cybercab still needs to prove customer demand, regulatory approval, and profitable economics, while Tesla's Q3 operating income fell 56% despite flat revenue.
