CPTx appoints Matt Kane as Chief Financial Officer

CPTx announced the appointment of Matt Kane as Chief Financial Officer. Kane brings extensive experience in gene editing and cell therapy, with a track record of raising over $500 million in equity financing and securing strategic partnerships valued at over $4 billion. He previously served as CEO of Celyad Oncology, Tune Therapeutics, and Precision Biosciences. Kane will lead CPTx's financing and partnering activities as the company advances its non-viral DNA-based in vivo CAR T therapies toward clinical studies.
