Corxel US and Amanat Acquisition Corp Announce Definitive Business Combination Agreement to Create Publicly Listed Obesity-Focused Biopharmaceutical Company

Corxel US, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, has announced a definitive business combination agreement with Amanat Acquisition Corp (Nasdaq: AMAN) to become a publicly traded obesity-focused company. The transaction is expected to provide approximately $377 million in gross proceeds, with $300 million from a PIPE financing backed by prominent healthcare investors. The combined company will advance CX11, a once-daily oral GLP-1 receptor agonist that demonstrated clinically meaningful weight loss in Phase 2 trials, and CX12, an oral amylin receptor agonist. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2027.
