Compass Therapeutics Announces Publication of Phase 2/3 COMPANION-002 Results for Tovecimig in the Journal of Clinical Oncology and Oral Presentation at ESMO 2026

Compass Therapeutics announced positive Phase 2/3 COMPANION-002 results for tovecimig in combination with paclitaxel for previously treated advanced biliary tract cancer, meeting primary endpoint of ORR (18.0% vs 5.3%) and key secondary endpoint of PFS with 56% reduction in disease progression risk. However, the intent-to-treat OS analysis showed no statistically significant difference due to high crossover rates (85% of patients ultimately received tovecimig). Safety profile was consistent with prior studies and the anti-VEGF class.
