[Communiqué de presse] Signature d’un protocole d’accord en vue de l’acquisition de SFR

A consortium of three French telecom operators—Bouygues Telecom, Free-Groupe iliad, and Orange—has signed an agreement to acquire SFR from Altice France for €20.35 billion. The deal aims to create a more competitive and resilient telecom ecosystem in France, with synergies expected to strengthen investment capacity. The transaction requires regulatory approval and is expected to close in H2 2027. Assets will be divided among the three operators, with SFR SA remaining as a transitional entity for 30+ months.
