Sanofi has decided to halt clinical development of amlitélimab, a monoclonal antibody for moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis, and will not submit it for regulatory approval worldwide. The company determined that efficacy and safety data do not support further development, as the drug would not represent a significant improvement over standard treatments. While the Phase 3 ESTUARY extension study showed long-term clinical response maintenance and acceptable safety profile, Sanofi maintains its 2026 financial guidance.
