Cloudera, Apache Polaris 도입으로 기업 AI를 위한 개방형·거버넌스 기반 데이터 접근 강화

Cloudera announced the adoption of Apache Polaris, an open-source catalog based on Apache Iceberg REST Catalog specifications, to support governed data access across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The integration aims to address enterprise challenges with data fragmentation, complex governance, and vendor lock-in by enabling secure data sharing while maintaining centralized governance. Cloudera also contributed a new Apache Ranger authorization plugin to Apache Polaris 1.5 for enterprise-grade security management.
