Cloudera announced the adoption of Apache Polaris in its open data lakehouse architecture powered by Apache Iceberg. The integration enables organizations to securely access and share governed data across analytics and AI engines while maintaining centralized governance. Cloudera contributed an Apache Ranger authorization plugin to Apache Polaris 1.5, providing enterprise-grade security and policy management.
