China's YunTuo Single Malt Whisky Strikes Gold on Debut at The World Whisky Masters 2026

YunTuo, Diageo's first whisky distillery in China located in Yunnan's highlands, won a Gold medal in the New Make category at The World Whisky Masters 2026. The award validates the distillery's whisky-making system and spirit character, which combines over two centuries of Scotch whisky expertise with Yunnan's natural terroir to create a distinctive fruit-led floral expression.
