Chery Autos fabrik i Rosslyn invigs i Sydafrika – LEPAS drar nytta av detta för att påskynda den lokala expansionen

Chery Auto officially inaugurated its Rosslyn manufacturing plant in South Africa, marking its transition from importer to local manufacturer. The facility will retain 692 employees and create nearly 3,000 jobs in the supply chain, with a planned annual production capacity of 50,000 vehicles per shift. The company aims to achieve 40% localization by 2028 and establish South Africa as its regional operations center for southern Africa. Chery's new premium brand LEPAS has also launched in South Africa with the LEPAS L6 model coming soon.
