Carbios and the Fiber-to-Fiber Consortium successfully validate the industrial-scale production of recycled polyester T-shirts made from complex plastic and textile waste.

Carbios has successfully produced high-quality recycled polyester T-shirts from complex textile and plastic waste at industrial scale in Europe, in collaboration with Patagonia, PUMA, and Salomon. The achievement demonstrates that enzymatic recycling can transform complex waste streams into high-performance materials matching virgin polyester specifications, with full compatibility to existing manufacturing processes.
