Canada’s Drug Agency Issues Final Positive Recommendation Supporting Public Reimbursement of LEQEMBI® (lecanemab) for Early Alzheimer’s Disease

Canada's Drug Agency (CDA-AMC) has issued a final positive recommendation supporting public reimbursement of LEQEMBI (lecanemab) for patients with mild cognitive impairment or mild dementia due to early Alzheimer's disease. The recommendation follows reconsideration and will proceed to negotiations through the pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance, with individual reimbursement decisions to follow from provincial and territorial drug plans.
