BW Offshore: 50% owned joint venture awarded NOK 1.94 billion Enova grant for floating offshore wind project

Fram Wind Solutions AS, a joint venture 50% owned by BW Offshore alongside Grieg Kapital and Fram Green Technology, has received a NOK 1.94 billion grant from Enova to develop a floating offshore wind project using two 18.5 MW turbines on BW Ideol's patented Damping Pool foundations. The project aims to advance floating wind technology to commercial scale, building on the success of the 30 MW EolMed wind farm in France that has been operational since May 2026.
