BNP PARIBAS GROUP: ARVAL COMPLETES THE ACQUISITION OF ATHLON

Arval, a BNP Paribas subsidiary, has completed its acquisition of Athlon (formerly a Mercedes-Benz Group subsidiary), creating a European co-leader in long-term vehicle leasing with a combined fleet of 2.3 million vehicles. The transaction is expected to deliver an 18% ROIC and contribute approximately €200 million to net income by year 3, with a modest -13 bps CET1 impact.
