Beam Global (NASDAQ: BEEM) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire ScoutDI, a drone technology company specializing in AI-powered systems for inspecting confined spaces and industrial assets. The $24 million acquisition will create a vertically integrated U.S. drone platform targeting industrial and defense markets. Beam plans to manufacture ScoutDI's systems in U.S. and European facilities, leveraging its existing customer base and manufacturing capabilities to expand into government and defense sectors.
