AZN's Tagrisso Plus Orpathys Study in First-Line NSCLC Meets Goal

AstraZeneca announced positive Phase III SANOVO study results showing that Tagrisso (osimertinib) combined with Orpathys (savolitinib) significantly improved progression-free survival versus Tagrisso monotherapy in treatment-naïve patients with EGFR-mutated advanced NSCLC with MET overexpression. The combination also demonstrated encouraging overall survival improvements. These results could expand the clinical utility of the combination to first-line treatment settings.
