Avacta Achieves Clinical Proof of Mechanism for the Next Generation of pre|CISION® Medicines with AVA6103 (FAP-Exd) in the Phase 1 FOCUS-01 Trial

Avacta announced positive Phase 1 clinical data for AVA6103, its next-generation FAP-targeted peptide-drug conjugate, demonstrating a clean safety profile with controlled-release exatecan at doses 50% higher than conventional exatecan's MTD. Pharmacokinetic data aligned with preclinical predictions, and head-to-head preclinical comparisons showed AVA6103 delivered superior antitumor activity compared to marketed ADC Enhertu®, with deep and durable responses in all treated animals.
