AskBio announced successful enrollment of over 170 participants across 64 sites in 12 countries for the GenePHIT Phase 2 trial evaluating umiposgene parvec (AB-1002), a one-time gene therapy for non-ischemic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction. The trial demonstrates the feasibility of conducting large multinational gene therapy trials, with initial efficacy and safety outcomes expected in the first half of 2027.
