Thailand officially unveiled its National AI Roadmap aimed at increasing industrial productivity by 15% by 2030, with targets to promote AI adoption in 60% of large enterprises and 40% of SMEs. The roadmap emphasizes that productivity, not AI technology itself, is the ultimate goal, and includes plans to train 50,000 skilled workers and develop 5,000 AI experts. The initiative addresses Thailand's productivity growth slowdown, with labor productivity growing only 2.1% annually from 2015-2023.
