Ageas cède sa participation dans Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad à son partenaire de coentreprise Maybank pour EUR 1,1 milliard

Ageas has agreed to sell its 30.95% stake in Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad (MAHB) to its joint venture partner Maybank for EUR 1.1 billion. The transaction, expected to close in 2026, will generate an estimated net gain of approximately EUR 450 million after taxes and will increase the company's Solvency II ratio by 25 percentage points. The deal values MAHB at EUR 3.5 billion, reflecting significant value creation over 25 years of partnership.
