AGC Biologics has secured a multi-year commercial contract worth hundreds of millions of dollars with a major international biopharmaceutical company, which will utilize half of the manufacturing capacity at its new Yokohama facility opening in 2027. The contract covers production of five biopharmaceutical programs with a minimum of 35 batches annually, reflecting growing demand for geopolitically stable biopharmaceutical supply chains.
