AGC Biologics has secured a multi-year commercial manufacturing contract worth hundreds of millions of dollars with a major global biopharmaceutical company for its new Yokohama facility. The customer will utilize half of the facility's mammalian cell-based production capacity to manufacture five biopharmaceutical products with minimum 35 batches annually. The facility, set to begin operations in 2027, reflects growing demand for geopolitically stable and reliable biopharmaceutical supply chains.
