Zealand Pharma's stock plummeted 23% after its GLP-1 weight-loss drug Servodutide showed a 19% discontinuation rate due to severe gastrointestinal side effects. The disappointing results benefit competitors Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk by reducing competition and reinforcing their market dominance. Eli Lilly's stock rose 2.5% following positive data on its new triple-receptor agonist drug Retatrutide, which showed only 4% discontinuation rates.
